Cory Wilkinson, AICP CEP, Project Manager Mary Morgan, PE, Engineer

2 Dec 2016 - Corridor Management Plan Recommendation:
Purpose Determine feasibility of reducing number of lanes on West Cervantes from 4 to 2 Lanes between Dominques and A Streets Dec Corridor Management Plan Recommendation: Option B (Road Diet) Option B: West Cervantes Street Road Diet – East of Pace Boulevard. Eliminate two travel lanes and add landscaped median and on-street parking

3 Project Limits Study Area 2.25 miles
As defined by December Corridor Management Plan

Summary Additional queuing anticipated Build 2045 (2 lanes) PM conditions worse than AM Average speed could be as much as 13 mph lower Travel time could be as much as  5.6 minutes longer with diversion to grid network Improved delay and queuing with diversion to grid: 20% diversion: minutes  5.6 minutes 10% diversion: minutes  7.3 minutes Sufficient capacity on parallel corridors W.
