Briefly describe someone from your life who you consider to be a “bad person.” Would you go so far to call him or her EVIL? Why or why not?
What makes a person “EVIL?”
Were any of the leaders in WWII (Hitler, Mussolini, Tojo, Stalin, FDR, Churchill) EVIL?
How did they come to power?
Did they help their people or a majority of their people? In what ways?
Why did people allow these men to pursue their individual goals of aggression? Why did other countries do the same?
What responsibility do the people of a country have to NOT allow such leaders to rise to power? Other countries?
Is EVIL just a matter of perception? Who labels good or bad?
With great power comes great responsibility.
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
