4 HISTORY OF BRITISH SLANG
Slang, more than any other language, remains spoken and resists being recorded on paper . The first recorded uses of slang in Britain occurred in the 16th century in the plays of Thomas Dekker, Thomas Middleton and William Shakespeare. The first books containing slang also appeared around this time: Robert Copland's «The hye way to the Spytlell hous», Thomas Harman's «A Caveat or Warning for Common Cursitors». 5 WHO AND WHERE TO USE SLANG?
So, we can use the slang in conversations, on the Internet, in Pop culture, in music or films. Slang is used by all kinds of groups of people who share situations or interests. So, we can use the slang in conversations, on the Internet, in Pop culture,in music or films.

7 I conducted a small quiz
I conducted a small quiz. By respondents 10 people, 6 responded that they use of English slang and 4 - no. From this quiz we can conclude that the increased amounts of people use slang. The same question was asked to people from other countries and they replied that it is more convenient to use slang.

8 It’s useful for understanding popular culture.
CONCLUSION It’s useful for understanding popular culture. Slang is interesting to learn about because it often doesn’t follow regular grammar rules and does things your teacher may have said not to do when speaking formally.
