The 500 Club is a fund organised by the Parent and Teacher Association at Balerno High School to resource various projects and activities for the school.
We currently have just over 100 members which generates £1000 for the school each year, but our target is to have 500 parents which would generate around £3,000….AND more family winners!
Imagine the benefit this could be for our children's education. You have to be in it to win it!!

In the past Balerno High School PTA has supported such things as S1Holiday Headstart Linguascope for the Language Dept, Smart Boards Projectors Sports Kits and the 2G PitchFever. Looking ahead we wish to help support different school departments purchasing equipment, with educational & project based school trips and more! To do this we need your help! These resources are invaluable to the school and the education of our children, especially in the current climate of cutbacks.
However we know many parents are busy and that giving time to raise funds can be a challenge for us all, which is why have The 500 club – a simple quarterly prize draw.
It’s simple! All you need to do is set up a standing order* or commit to only £12 each year. From this money there will be FOUR annual prize draws! So you could win AND the school definitely wins!
You could win
The 500 club runs from September each year. If you join during the course of the year your payment should be for the proportional amount of the £12. So…
If you join between Sept to Dec: £12 payment for full year draws
If you join between Jan to Mar: **£9 payment for part year draws
If you join between April to June: **£6 payment for part year draws
