9. Pretests
Each course begins with a Pretest designed to identify a learner’s individual strengths and weaknesses.

10. Study Plan
When students complete the pretest for a course, Workplace Essential Skills generates a personalized study plan based on the results of the pretest.  For students, checkmarks and black text indicate areas they are strong in and green text indicates lessons they need to focus on.  However, students can access all the lessons at any point.

Each course consists of a series of topics, broken down into lessons.
