6 RFP Opportunity The University is soliciting proposals for Architectural and Engineering Services for the Keast Commons Renovation, WSU Project For the purposes of this proposal, a total budget of $1,00,000 has been presumed We are seeking superior quality & competitive pricing Specifications are in RFP and any Drawings on the Website

7 Calendar of Events Mandatory Pre-bid meeting - September 24, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Questions due to Procurement & Strategic Sourcing - September 30, Noon Delivery of Proposals - October 7, 2019 by 2:00 pm Time of Completion - December 2020 Short List Announced approx. the Week of October 18, 2019 Post Bid Interviews tentatively scheduled for October 21 thru October 24, 2019 Selection during the Week of Week of October 28, 2019 Contract Negotiations and Execution Week of November 15, 2019

8 Bids Due Bids are due by electronic submission on October 7, 2019 by 2:00 pm The link for bid submission have been posted with the bid details at beginning September 16, 2019 Proposals are limited to 30 pages total, one sided. Prices and other requested data must be on Schedule C.1, Fee Proposal, and Schedule C.2, Level of Effort Proposals must acknowledge all Addenda including Prebid Meeting Minutes

9 Project Schedule Schematic Design Development Completion January 13th, 2020 Design Development Completion March 9th, 2020 Construction Document Completion May 4th, 2020 GMP Change Order Completion of DD by (GMP Date) Construction beginning no later than (Construction Start Date) Final Completion (Construction Completion Date)

30 Page Limit, 1 side, 11 pt font Executive Summary Firm Overview Relevant Experience Construction Manager’s Personnel Project Management, Scheduling, Changes in the Work Proposed Fee Basis and Fee Proposal

12 Selection Process and Evaluation Criteria
Proposals received in response to this RFP The quality and comprehensiveness of the plans provided The qualifications of the proposed project team A check of references Fees will be considered to determine best value

13 Prevailing Wage Rates Wayne State University requires all project contractors, including subcontractors, to compensate at a rate no less than prevailing wage rates Prevailing Wage Schedules are posted on the website and must be posted at the job site. 1099 Workers are NOT acceptable Certified Payroll must be provided with each of the contractor’s pay applications Sworn Statement must be provided for all materials and labor contracted in excess of $10,000.00 Signed waivers from all Subcontractors and suppliers must accompany Pay Applications Note: Contractor invoices WILL NOT be processed until all listed certified payroll documents are received
