1 The School development plan for Parents and Carers
The School development plan (SDP) is a document we write and review each year. It is split in to 5 areas and in each area are targets that we, as a whole school, work towards. The SDP is reviewed and scrutinised by all staff each term. The targets are generated from the previous year, focusing on what we feel is needed to ensure we continue to grow, evolve and provide the very best for every one of our pupils.

2 Assessment, Evaluation and accountability
Excellence, equity and wellbeing To ensure the updated ALN code of practice is implemented with provision, plans (SA+ / S) meeting the need of ALN pupils and that all eSA pupils are appropriately supported within the class and continue to make progress. (single page profile/value added / appropriate differentiation). To achieve RRS Level 2 award To continue to ensure staff are supported on an equity, not equality basis To continue to ensure the most vulnerable pupils are supported to increase well being. Assessment, Evaluation and accountability To increase LLC outcome 6 + from 22% to at least 40% in 19-20 To increase pupil standards in IT and DC skills To continue to ensure responsive, robust and rigorous systems and approaches to self evaluation and school development. ( To continue to use rigorous assessment systems to track all pupils, including vulnerable groups, ensuring accountability for pupil outcomes and well being is at every level. SDP – Overview Inspirational Leaders To continue to use the “Effective teaching and learning” session model to support staff with their professional development and leadership skills. To continue to use the ETLF to raise standards in teaching and learning To continue to ensure the GB continues to be fully involved in the SE approaches Transformational Curriculum To raise pupil standards in LLC, especially at the higher levels / outcomes To implement a roll out programme for the 6 AOLES, focus on 2 each year and then 4 as minor to ensure the new curriculum is full understood by all teachers. To continue to invest in IT, to raise standards and competence of both pupils and teachers To continue to plan authentic experiences, using the What Matters statements for each AOLE, 4 core purposes, to further raise pupil attainment and well being To continue the excellent independent learning across the school ( High quality educational professionals To deepen knowledge of the new curriculum, ensuring new draft curriculum is implemented within each setting. (same themes across the school) To continue current performance management approach to support evaluations To continue to ensure a culture of enquiry , innovation and exploration is fostered (SLO Model) To continue to increase collaboration between professionals, to raise standards in teaching and learning
