Congratulations! We are excited that you have chosen Villanova University’s College of Professional Studies for your Continuing Professional Education! This new student orientation is designed to prepare you for your Professional Certificate Course. 3 Admitted Students Checklist
Set up your Villanova account. And, if you prefer, forward your Villanova to your personal account. Get tech help by reaching out to UNIT  Request your Parking Permit Pay your bill Get your Wildcard (student ID) Get familiar with Villanova using the Campus Map Sign up for Nova Alert First things first! Before your course begins, there are a few things you will need to do. You will receive an official Villanova User ID and a Villanova University account from UNIT (University Information Technologies). As a student, please check your Villanova regularly.  We will use it to correspond with you regarding a variety of important points. It is possible to forward your from your Villanova account to another account. If you prefer to use another address, be sure to have your Villanova messages forwarded there. If you did not receive the from UNIT or encounter any technical difficulties, please contact UNIT’s helpdesk at or If your course is on-campus or a hybrid course, there are a few additional steps to consider. If you will be driving to campus, you will need to purchase a parking permit. Permits can be ordered online and picked up in the parking office which is located in Garey Hall (number 51 on the Campus Map). Once you order your parking permit, you will be billed by the University Bursar, more on this in a moment. You may want to obtain a student id, known as your Wildcard as it will allow you access into certain buildings such as the Falvey Memorial Library. You can find the campus map, directions to campus and information on local trains by clicking the Campus Maps link Finally, NOVA Alert delivers important emergency alerts, notifications such as school closings and updates to any mobile device or you choose to register.

4 University Bursar Your V-bill can be accessed through myNova.  Go to myNova and search "V-Bill Students" at:  Tuition and other fees are managed through the Bursar’s Office and are due by the first day of class in the respective semester. Please note that you must access your “V-Bill” online. You will not receive an invoice in the mail or via . This includes the charge for your parking permit. The Parking Office cannot accept payment for your permit. Failure to settle your Bursar account will prevent you from accessing your grades or receiving your Certificate of course completion. To access MyNOVA, go to mynova.villanova.edu and enter your username and password. Additional information can be found here: MyNOVA FAQ MyNOVA is the University’s online student information system. The MyNOVA portal is customized to bring you the targeted information you need based on your university profile. Through MyNOVA, you can access the CPS Admitted Students channel for useful quick links

6 New to Blackboard? Access the “Getting Started Guide” by clicking here.
Blackboard is a Web-based learning management system (LMS) designed to support fully online courses or provide a space for face-to-face course supplementation. Blackboard provides many types of tools and features for enriching the learning experience. While this is primarily a tool for online learning, some of the on-campus courses will also utilize Blackboard.

Public Safety Student Support Services Tutoring Math Learning Resource Center Writing Center Career Center There are a variety of dining options across campus making it easy for you to grab a quick bite before class or perhaps coffee during a break. Visit the University Dining Services link for locations and times. The Falvey Memorial Library is located in the center of campus, building #18 on the campus map, and is accessible with your student id, your Wildcard only. The Villanova University Shop is located in Kennedy Hall building #21 on the Campus Map. Shop online or in store for a full selection of school supplies, collegiate apparel, computer accessories, gifts and more. On the public safety website you can find information about campus security and emergency procedures. Finally, Villanova offers a variety of services to promote students’ well-being and success.
