8 PHENOMENA Why do cars get soo hot that it becomes dangerous to people and animals! If it’s hot outside, then it’s even hotter inside your car. Because it can get so hot inside a car on a sunny day, leaving pets in the cars can be deadly. Police Officers use laser thermometers to show how quickly temperatures can rise inside a parked vehicle. They have seen a car’s temperature go up about 13 degrees in about 8-9 minutes. PHENOMENA Pg 45R Read the Article and Highlight underline the key ideas.
