A warm welcome to Brentwood Kindergarten! What an exciting time for all of us – your child’s first year in school and all the excitement that a new school year brings.
My name is Celeste Kallis and I will be your child’s teacher this year. I am looking forward to working with you and your child. It is my hope that your child leaves kindergarten with the attitude that learning is exciting and that school is the next best thing to home. My goal is to provide an environment that is both stimulating and comfortable. One where they are treated with respect and where they are expected to treat others with respect; a place that encourages them to think, to discover, to care and to laugh.

What will we be learning
A few of this months goals are to help the children develop a sense of their uniqueness, friendships, a respect for others, and their right to: be listened to, take turns and learn their own space. For this month, we will also be learning about the letter Aa.
