2. As humans, we share many things in common
“The rich and the poor have this in common, The LORD is the maker of them all.” -- Proverbs 22:2
“The poor man and the oppressor have this in common: The LORD gives light to the eyes of both.” Proverbs 29:13

3. What we have in common as Christians
A relationship with God our Father and His Son Jesus Christ (1 John 1:3; 1 Corinthians 1:9; 10:16-17)
Our precious faith (2 Peter 1:1; Titus 1:4; Jude 3)
Our common faith gives us something to fight for (2 Timothy 1:8; 2:3),
It gives us a common enemy to fight against (1 Peter 5:8-9; 1 Corinthians 10:13)
And it gives us a reason to share our blessings (Acts 2:44; 4:32; Galatians 6:10)

4. What we have in common as Christians
A love for one another (Colossians 3:14)
A hope for eternity (Romans 8:17-19)
A love for God’s truth (1 Corinthians 13:6)
A common love for each other A common gift to the Savior A common bond holding us to the Lord A common strength when we're weary A common hope for tomorrow A common joy in the truth of God's word
