Ephesians 4:4

We Start out Hopeless Like Abraham (Genesis 15:1-5; 17:15-21; Rom. 4:18) Without Christ, none of us has any hope. (Ephesians 2:12) God gives hope to the hopeless (Jeremiah 29:11)

Our One Hope is Based on Jesus’ Resurrection Our hope was long hidden, but ultimately revealed in Jesus (Colossians 1:26-27; Hebrews 7:19) There is no other hope (1 Corinthians 15:17-19; 1 Timothy 1:1)

Our Hope is Guaranteed by the Trustworthiness of God He raised Christ (1 Peter 1:21) He is faithful (Hebrews 10:23; 6:18-19; Titus 1:2) He would not have sent His Son if there could be no hope (1 John 4:9)

One Hope for All of Us Let us hold fast to it, persevere to obtain it, and eagerly await its appearing! Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering.” 1 Peter 1:13 “…rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” Titus 2:13 “…looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.” Romans 8:24-25 “…we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.”
