5 Contrary-(adj) the opposite in character, nature, or position
Contrary to popular belief, a dolphin is not a fish.

6 Admitted-(v) to confess to a mistake or wrong doing
When standing before the judge, the criminal admitted to stealing the tv.

7 Trotted-(v) to walk at a brisk, skipping pace
The horse trotted around the field.

8 Gloomy-(adj) sad, unhappy, darkness
During the winter, there are many gloomy days that make me want to sleep in.

9 Suspicious-(v) the act of suspecting something or someone: out of place
The astronaut looked very suspicious at the horse race.

10 Nuisance-(adj) something annoying
My younger sister is such a nuisance when she tries to steal my clothes.

11 Indignant- (adj) anger aroused from something unjust or unfair
Being the only one who got into trouble for her class being loud made molly feel very indignant.

12 Memos- (n) notes In college, a student must be able to take quick memos on the professors lesson

13 Collapsed- (v) something falling apart or falling down
My plans of visiting my grandmother on Christmas Day collapsed when the blizzard happened.
