3 There are Many Job Search Tools to Use.
Social media is now the # 1 tool that is used by recruiters to find candidates. However it is not the only tool you should use to find your next job. Continue to do all the other basics you are doing like: Networking, Keeping resumes updated on job boards, and Following up with past job postings.

4 Profile Perfect your profile—just like you do with application or resume.

5 Build your network LinkedIn and Twitter are great ways to get in touch with people you know, and also people you WANT to know.

6 Follow Companies In order to see jobs being posted on social media—follow the companies you are interested in working for.

7 Search for Jobs

8 #search for jobs If you know how to use Twitter's search tool properly, it can be invaluable for tracking down relevant tweets and job vacancies. Generally, the most effective way to search for jobs is by using this combination: location + “careers”

9 Final notes Social Media tools like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter give you access to jobs that people only using job boards may not have =Less competition! Many times companies will post to Social Media first because they know that people following their company are interested in working for them! Regardless of how you find your jobs, Social Media is used literally by all hiring managers to check our candidates before they hire. The better you look on social media the better you look as a candidate for them.
