10 The Team comes first. Team Rules We only have 1 team rule.
Anything to put yourself above the team will be a violation of our team rules.

11 Objectives of the Football Program
Receive a diploma and an education Become better people through this athletic experience Establish an excellence in athletics Have FUN

12 Player Expectations Attendance
Come every day on time. Even if you physically cannot participate, you are expected to attend every team function. If you cannot attend a function, call and let the coach know. Irregular attendance makes it difficult or impossible to be apart of our team. DO NOT send messages through other players, contact the coach directly

13 Expectations Continued
Attitude Come every day with the expectation of something great happening. Coaches cannot teach a person who does not want to learn. Successful players see the player coach relationship as a cooperative effort to make the player the best they can be, not as a competition to see which player can do the least to “get by” Attendance and effort are both choices YOU make

14 Parent Expectations Help your child attend every function on time
If you have questions please communicate them with the coaches rather than the players Support your child. We hope you demonstrate an unconditional love for your athlete. This love and support should not be based on the athletes playing time or the win/loss record of the team.

15 Coaches Expectations Treat people with respect Be professional
Be honest Be on time Be positive

16 Playing Time Knowledge of Assignment Hustle and Effort
We cannot and will not play people who don’t know their assignments. Every can and should know their assignments. Hustle and Effort Everyone will be expected to give 100% effort at all times. Your teammates will be giving 100% effort, they are expecting you to do the same. Mental Toughness Whatever can be conceived and believed can be achieved. When you get the mind right, the body with follow. Mentally tough people understand adversity is part of competition. We will discover everyday who has strong mental toughness

17 Playing Time Continued
Contribution to the overall team Football is a team sport. The individual who motivates his teammates, is always enthusiastic and ready will make a much greater contribution to his team than one who does not possess this quality. Everyone can be a team player. Talent If the above characteristics are equal, and they should be, then the young man who has the most talent, makes the biggest plays, will start. However, talent will not enter that equation until we look at the first four qualities. If you are injured, it makes it difficult for the coaches to evaluate you. A players fee does not guarantee your child playing time. Playing time is earned through demonstration of the above qualities.

18 Playing Time for Different Levels
Freshman Football Expectations Purpose - Teach players the basic rules and strategies of football.  Build the players’ knowledge of football to a level that will allow them to progress to the junior varsity level. All players should receive playing time unless they are physically or mentally unprepared. Junior Varsity Football Expectations Purpose - Teach players the intermediate rules and strategies of football and prepare them for varsity football. Varsity Football Expectations Purpose - Teach players the advanced rules and strategies of football. Players may not receive playing time.
