Be here every day. On time.
If you do not come to practice it will impact playing time. Absences need to be excused – note From Parent, Teacher, Dr.
You can’t just skip practice
Have a great attitude. Be Positive.
Attitude and attendance are things that every player can control.

We expect you to give 100 % on every play.
A battle of wills vs. skills.
Be accountable in the classroom
You will be held responsible for taking care of your business.

Player Expectations
Let the Coach know when you are hurt.
Go in for treatment Family Dr. or BVNW trainer.
Issues with Head Injuries must be cleared by a doctor
Live a healthy lifestyle.
We will not tolerate the use of drugs and/or alcohol.
Drink lots of water / get lots of sleep

It is our goal that every player establishes a role that is important and meaningful to our football program.

We will try to make playing time as even as possible but,
there are many factors that determine playing time.
Attitude, effort, practice attendance, school eligibility, number of players at a given position, talent, and ability.
“Start” as many players as possible.
Place players at a position where they will best contribute to the program and their own development.

Weekly practice
Non game days we will practice from 3:00 till 5:00
Early Release Days we will practice 6:15 AM till 7:15 AM
*school provides water
Game Days.
All games will start promptly at 3:30 home or away
Final GAME SCHEDULE WILL BE RELEASED as soon as the District completes it. I will send it home with the kids, it and post it on the school website

Please encourage players to take care of equipment issues before game day.
Players will be required to take practice clothing home each Friday to be washed
Any issues with equipment see Mr Newell so we can swap those items out.

Concussion Management
USA FOOTBALL HEADS UP Certified
Coaches instruct the heads up method for Tackling and Blocking.
Staff follows levels of contact progression and full contact time limitations set in place by KSHSAA (90- minutes per week)
The coaches can not guarantee that there will not be any concussions during the season but we do everything in our power to minimize that risk
