5 Architectural Drawing Sequences & Procedure
Setting Up Drawing A1. Set the drawing border and title block. A2. Organize and orientate the layout plan within the drawing space, then start the setting the grid line according to structure columns grid. A3. Set the columns in position. A4. Start to set the building parameter wall (150mm thick) follow with internal wall same thickness. A5. Set the doors and window position. A6. Darken the columns and the walls according to texture. A7. Set the symbol for the grid line code/numbers and dimensions line with dimension and figures. A8. Set the bath room layout plan outline (sanitary – vanity, long bath/shower compartment & WC with the templates) A9. Set the kitchen layout plan outline (furniture layout follow with the appliances using templates then darken the line.

Set the Living, Dining & Bedroom furniture outline spacing, thereafter using the templates to complete the layout with dark line. B. Annotation B1. Annotate the room’s name or area and then follow with other symbol for the doors and windows. B2. Annotate the other necessary information like kitchen appliances, sanitary and fixture fitting / furniture. B3. Annotate the floor level and finishes C. Legend Set Up C1. The Legend and general notes C2. Erase all the unnecessary pencil line and final checking of the drawings to ensure it is clear to viewer.
