7 Inter – American Proposals : Definitions
INTER-AMERICAN PROPOSAL (IAP): DIAP supported by at least six Members States and not opposed by more than 50% of the number of supports obtained. DRAFT INTER-AMERICAN PROPOSAL (DIAP): PP that has been supported by at least one other Member State. PRELIMINARY PROPOSAL (PP): a proposal by a CITEL Member State that has not been supported by another Member State.

9 Overall Status of Preparations
Discussed virtually all 24 agenda items and 30 sub-issues 27 PPs, 32 DIAPs, 22 IAPs (8 already sent to ITU) Seven meetings to date MHz amateur service in Region 1 1.11 – Railway train and trackside radiocommunications 1.12 – Intelligent Transport Systems 1.16 – WAS/RLAN ( MHz, MHz, MHz) 9.1 (9.1.2) – IMT and BSS MHz in Regions 1 and 3 9.1 (9.1.8) – Machine Type communications Ended discussion and agreed to forward. The following agenda item IAPs were sent to the ITU:
