‘Wish you were here’ is a familiar phrase traditionally used on postcards associated with personal connections to particular places. Some artists and designers such as Julie Cockburn, Sarah Fishburn, Charlie Holt, Shaun Kardinal and Eduardo Recife have expressed their ideas on postcards as an art form. The works involve a variety of scale and processes such as digital, photographic, collaged, stitched and constructed media.
