3. Baby Simulator:
Every time that baby Cries it is your responsibility to see what baby needs! You are the only one That can take care of baby because you will be wearing a programmed water proof bracelet.
After the care session is over make sure that you mark it down in your diary
The diary will SAVE your Grade
You are not expected to care for baby while in the Shower or while Driving. If you are the passenger in the car then YES you have to take care of baby but driving you do not. Always place time in diary that you were showering or driving. If baby cries during these times it will not be held against you!

4. Baby Simulator Continued:
Rules for baby:
Never put Baby on it’s stomach or side
Never Leave BABY in A Car Unattended
Never ALLOW others to play with baby
Always support Baby’s neck
During quite times Make sure baby is in a secure place baby is still alive just not active

5. Baby Simulator Continued:
Rules for baby:
Sometime while feeding baby it will take a while to feed if baby senses that you have bottle propped to feed it will cry! Readjust and continue feeding.
Make sure you alternate the colors of babies diapers because it will read as a miss care if you do not
Keep Baby Clothed at ALL times!
Do Not Have them Around Liquids etc!
Under no circumstances are you to remove your bracelets! Teacher will cut bracelet off Monday 8th period. If bracelet is not on wrist when you return to school you FAIL!!

6. Simulator & Quite Times:
Every baby turns on at 2:00 pm on Friday.
You are not held accountable for the baby until 2:25. You will a note to be excused 8 minutes early from you 9th period class to report back to my room.
The baby will remain active from 2 pm Friday until 12 am Monday morning.
All babies are expected to go out on the date assigned!
Every student will receive 8 hours of quite times during a weekend. These are times to work around athletic events, work etc. These are not times so that you can attend a party, go on a date, sleep.

7. binder:
A white binder is sent home every Friday with baby
In the binder you will find on the left front side the diaries that need filled out and sent home
In the back of the binder you will fine the caregiver reflection that must also be filled out
The pages in the middle are just to help troubleshoot babies needs
Emergency contact number is in folder if you do not understand please don’t hesitate to call!!!

8. Getting ready to go home:
Each student will have to sign a contract that says they know the rules and responsibilities of the baby project
1st thing each student will do after being assigned baby is bath baby with Clorox wipe.
2nd Dress baby in Yellow diaper then dress baby in jogging suit.
3rd Every student will pack his or her diaper bag with the following items : Blanket, hat, bottle, green diaper, binder, onesie, sleeper.

9. Delivery of baby on monday:
When you return the baby back to school on Monday the following need to be completed if you do not want to lose points off of your project grade!
Undress baby
Plug baby back into the charger on the bottom shelf of cabinet. Battery life will turn on if plugged in correctly
Put bottles back into the closet
Place binder on ledge of window sill behind desk
Put all clothes, blankets, hats and diapers in the washing machine
Put car seats back on top of the cabinets
DO NOT REMOVE BRACELET … TEACHER WILL REMOVE 8th period
