They are considered the most colorful caves in Italy, with amazing colours everywhere, from reddish-brown to grey and yellow.
The present tourist path leads the visitors past crystal clear water, stunning stalagmites and stalactites, which look like draperies,and mysterious helictites.

HISTORICAL AND SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION
The caves date back to a period from 500,00 to 750,00 years ago.
They were discovered by three young boys who climbed down into a chamber following the Battorezza Stream. Everybody ignored the discovery for years, but in 1950 some speleologists found a new passage.
They were stunned by the beauty of the caves and the amazing findings, like fossil fragments of bears, elephants and turtles.

Discovered in 1933
Opened to tourists on 29 June 1970

There is no access for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
