2 What type of services do we offer?
Personal Counseling Chiropractic Services Reproductive Health and Family Planning Shot-term illnesses Medi-Cal Application Assistance Health Video Library Testing and Treatment for Sexually Transmitted Infections Please visit our webpage for further information. If you are in need of services that we do not offer, we can assist you with community resources. Some providers on our referral lists also offer discounted fees for students.

3 How much do our services cost?
All our visits are FREE!!!! Cash ONLY!!! 3 things we charge for Medication Immunizations Lab work

4 Personal Counseling Services
Licensed Mental Health Counselors offer Supportive Non-judgmental Confidential Short-term personal counseling and counseling in emergency situations. Referrals to community agencies are available if needs cannot be met by short-term counseling. Students currently attending credit classes are eligible. The first appointment must be in person at the Health Center Bldg. 67B & 9E. Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Spanish-speaking counselors available All Personal Counseling visits are FREE!!!

5 Chiropractic Services
Chiropractic is a health care approach that focuses on the relationship between the body’s structure- mainly the spine-and its functioning. Chiropractors perform conservative therapies, such as: Manipulation of spinal and extremity joints Rehab exercises (with the goal of restoring normal function to support the body’s natural ability to heal.) Students currently attending credit classes are eligible. The first appointment must be scheduled in person at the Student Health Center, 67B. All Chiropractic visits are FREE!!!

6 Who can use our services?
Credit Students Non- Credit Students/Visitors Mt. SAC Student Identification (I.D.) card must be presented at each visit. Students who have dropped or withdrawn from classes are no longer eligible for services. All students currently enrolled and attending credit classes are eligible to receive all services offered. Not eligible for services

7 Who can use our services (cont.)?
Adjunct Faculty Employee Adjunct faculty are eligible to receive limited medical services. Picture identification, such as a Mt. SAC faculty badge or driver’s license, must be presented at each visit. Adjunct faculty may receive services between hire and termination dates only. Employees are eligible to receive services funded by the District such as routinely-scheduled tuberculosis (TB) testing. The Hepatitis B Immunization series is offered to employees identified by the Bloodborne Pathogens Program as high-risk for blood and body fluid exposure. Picture identification, such as a Mt. SAC faculty or staff badge or driver’s license, must be presented at each visit. Employees may receive services between hire and termination dates only.

The Health Center is located at Building 67B on the lower level, across parking lots F & H and north of the pedestrian bridge. Bldg. 9E The Health Center Satellite is located at Building 9E on the second level, door #2300, east of Building 9B.
