WHAT IS CLIL ? It is a method which integrates the teaching of a content from a curriculum subject with the teaching of a foreign language .

When you are healthy you feel good .
Why we need to eat? Everyone needs food to live. The food that we eat is transformed into energy that we use to move, study, play and for all the work we do. But to grow it is also necessary to lead a healthy lifestyle, a balanced diet based on healthy food rich in water, vegetables and fruit. It is also important to avoid a sedentary lifestyle. When you are healthy you feel good .

FRUIT AND VEGETABLES Fruit and vegetables provide health benefits and are important for the prevention of illnesses. They contain a variety of nutrients such as vitamins, mineral and antioxidant that are essential to kids health and development. Health benefits of fruit and vegetables also increase the ability of concentrate learn more, and sleep better.

GRAINS Eating grains, especially whole grains, provides health benefits. Grains are important resources of many nutrients, several vitamins and minerals (iron, magnesium, selenium). GRAINS: give energy; reduce the risk of heart diseases, obesity and tipe 1 diabet; are essential for a healthy nervous system and immune system.

The Eatwell plate The Eatwell Plate is a pictorial summary of the main food groups and their recommended proportions for a healthy diet. It is a method for illustrating dietary advice by the Department of Health of the government of the U.K. The Eatwell plate was superseded by the Eatwell guide published on the 17th march 2016.

The Eatwell plate is dived in the five groups : The green groups contains fruit and vegetables (you could eat at least 5 portions of a variety of them every day). The yellow group contains carbohydrates such as pasta, rice, bread …(you could choose whole grain version with less added fat , salt and sugar. The pink groups contains proteins such as meat, nuts, eggs, fish, …(you could eat more beans and pulses, 2 portions of fish per week , and less red and processed meat); The blue groups contains milk and dairy (you could choose lower fat and lower sugar options); The purple group contains fat (oil, butter) and sugar (we could choose unsatured oils and use them in a small amounts). The Eatwell plate also contains advice on limiting the salt intake, and drinking at least 6-8 glasses of water, or unsweetened beverages per day , while avoiding soda pops and soft drinks light in sugar

Conclusions Healthy life
For a healthy life, you need to protect your body, do exercise and eat the right food. Today there’s a very big problem: people are getting fatter because they eat too much and they don’t do much exercise outdoors . They watch TV, use the PC and tablet, play computer games, they travel by car too. So remember : EAT to live, DON’T LIVE to eat. This is the secret to stay healty.
