Step-by-Step!

4 Open the CHROME web browser (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.) For this practice, use CHROME

5 Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner

6 You will see a “drop down” menu

7 Click on “New incognito window”

8 The new “window” will look like this.

9 Type “NVOC.org” here

10 Move the cursor over the word STUDENTS (Don’t Click)

11 Click on “Single Sign-On Accounts for Students”

12 Click on “Activate Your New Adult Single Sign-On Account”

13 Click on “Adult Student”

14 Click on Activate your account…

59 Type your new password!

60 Click “Next”

64 Click on M (for mail)

65 You will see this “Welcome” announcement

66 Click on “Next”

67 Click on “OK”

68 Click on COMPOSE

69 The New Message box appears

70 Address the email to your teacher!

71 Enter a subject e.g. “Thanks,” or “My new email”

72 Type a short message

73 Click “Send”

74 You should see “Message sent”

75 It’s important to always sign out of your Google account if you are using a “PUBLIC” computer. Go back to your Gmail account

76 Click on the round button with your initial on it (the first letter of your name)

77 Click on “Sign out”

78 You are now signed out!

79 Remove your name from the list

80 Click on the “down” arrow next to your name

81 Click on the “Remove an account”

82 Click on the “X” next to your name

83 Click on the “Yes, remove”

84 Your name is gone!

85 So what did you do today. 1) You activated your Single Sign-On account
