You need a printed copy of your introduction at the start of class – along with 3 quotes. You may not leave today to print it out, unless it is at the end of class for a pass to the library. I can only send a limited number of students. If you do not have these two assignments with you now, they will be considered LATE. You were also asked to submit 3 quotes. By the end of class, make sure you have 3 from the novel and 3 from your literary criticisms. Please also need to go into your LITERARY CRITICISMS (25 quotes) and highlight the 3 that you see yourself using in your essay/paper.

Do you know the author’s PURPOSE for writing this novel? Do you have a strong grasp on the MAIN THEMES in the novel? Does your thesis pass the “SO WHAT” test? Does your thesis explain the WHY? Do you have the NAME OF YOUR NOVEL and the AUTHOR’S NAME somewhere in the thesis?
