2 Set a schedule and stick to it
Analyze your biorhythms and schedule your work accordingly Do your most difficult, concentration-intensive work during your most productive hours Try to avoid non-work-related activities during your scheduled work hours On a day when you are unable to stick to your regular schedule, keep track of the hours you work

3 Compartmentalize! Don’t let your domestic life intrude on your professional life, and vice versa

4 Don’t be harder –or easier– on yourself than your boss would be
Set realistic goals for yourself Stop and take a break during the day Know when to call it quits Jump at the chance to put in extra time if you need to, when the opportunity presents itself

5 Make every minute count
When you can’t concentrate on the job at hand, switch tasks When inspiration hits, go with it! And stick with it for as long as it lasts

6 Keep distractions to a minimum
Use the internet for work purposes only Keep separate accounts for personal and professional . Avoid using personal during work hours Weed out spam messages as soon as you open your Screen incoming phone calls, and don’t answer calls that might distract you from your work

7 Have a Plan B A routine is important. Nonetheless, sometimes even the best time management techniques fall apart. Then you need a Plan B The essence of time management: being able to identify and implement alternative strategies when the usual ones are not applicable. Be creative!
