5 Selection of candidates

6 Rules And Regulations

7 All the public teaching institutes must be inspected and approved by degree awarding institutions (University).

8 All the specialty programs and their training sites must be approved by PMDC.

10 Who could be Supervisor ?
Professor Associate professor Assistant professor Total experience of 5 years , three years must be after post- graduation. Prof/HOD 2 PG trainees per year Each faculty member 01 PG trainee per year To meet the criteria of 3 teachers for starting specialty SR may be included in faculty. Mechanism to remove the name of Supervisor

11 Bed Requirement 1 PGT per 2.5 beds Per year
No bed requirement for anesthesia and radiology

12 Program faculty committee
Al the supervisors of respective specialty Prof/HOD will be program director The committee and program director will be notified by the institution

13 Program faculty committee
Will meet frequently to look after academics/training. Allocation of PGT to supervisors, Research. Counseling. Administration Internal examinations Discipline within the program Continuous internal assessment Committee should keep record of such meetings with copy to VC.

14 Institutional PGME Committee
All the Program Directors. It will have advisory role in All academics Administrative matters Disciplinary matters The committee will ensure the curriculum is translated into Training/competencies by structured program. Committee should maintain minutes of meetings with copy to VC

15 Teaching &Training arrangements
SHC&ME will coordinate with all DAIs to maintain uniform standards in line with the competencies of the specialist doctors. Uniform Standards (Inter University Board) PGTs allowed to work in other institutes or abroad for a period of 1-6 months with approval from Program faculty committee, Institutional PGME Committee and Head of Institution. The PGT will get the Salary for this period

16 Continued Appointment at DHQ/THQ for 3 months during last 2 years
The trainee can launch any grievance to Institutional PGME committee with in 3 days of problem. The committee should review the case with in 2 weeks and give its recommendations .

17 4 weeks leave /absence per year.
3 months maternity leave with pay only once in whole program. Program freeze for 6 months only once and without pay. Al candidates who will avail freezing or leave more than 4 weeks will have to work more to complete their requirement and it will be without pay.

18 No Honorary PG Residency.
M.O if selected for ay program will avail deputation for salary.

Collection of evaluation record and its analysis Help in development of curricula and Keeping these records Arranging workshops Registration of candidates(UTMC) Arranging lectures

24 How to be a resident in RMU
Induction Registration with UTMC Orientation Lecture Visit to hospitals/departments Meeting with supervisors program directors and mentors/information about dress code and social media/behavior. Copy of curriculum,rotations,year planner etc.
