Give a brief demonstration of repetition that is not meaningful.
Here is one way you might use repetition in the classroom: “Ok, class! Repeat after me. Pencil! (Pencil) Eraser! (Eraser) Notebook! (Notebook) Great job!” Was that meaningful? After participants answer, ask Why not?
