2 What is a pronoun? Pronouns are words that we use to talk about people, animals, places or other things. Some examples: he, she, it, they, I, me, etc.

3 What is a personal pronoun?
Personal pronouns are words that we use to talk about OURSELVES. They are: I, me, my & mine.

4 Japanese personal pronouns.
They are different to English personal pronouns because they are GENDER-MARKED. This means that boys use one kind of personal pronouns that girls can’t use. So what are they? ---->

5 For girls: WATASHI= I/me. WATASHINO= my.

6 For boys: BOKU= I/me. BOKUNO= my.
