5 4.Triple Entente the name of the pre-WW1 alliance between France, Great Britain and Russia

6 5.Allied Powers The group formed by Great Britain, France, Italy, Russia and the U.S.

7 6. Central Powers The group formed by Germany, Bulgaria, Austria-Hungary, and the Ottoman Empire

the approach that the U.S. took during the initial years of WW1

10 9.Woodrow Wilson U.S. President that attempted to keep us out of the War.

12 11. Liberty Bond A government bond that was sold in the U.S. to support the Allies during WWI. A Bond is when an individual lets the Government borrow money to support a cause. The Gov't always pays the money back plus a little more. Favorite Liberty Bond
