Final/Semester Exam for everyone this Wednesday, May 22 Last Friday (5-17) - Electricity Unit Test Test and lab make-up is today after school and during lunch Today and yesterday: prepare for final exam Notebooks will only be collected the day of the exam if you want to try and get extra credit. It is an optional assignment that may be turned in on exam day.

Chapters to be covered: 10, 11, 12 & 13 - Rotational Mechanics & Gravity Sound & Light Electricity - Yesterday, we focused on Rotational & Gravity - Today we will focus on Sound & Light Please review the Key Concepts slip for today.

Practice Test At this time you will take a practice test over Chapters (Waves, Vibrations, Sound & Light). You may use any resources you have (notebook, portfolio, textbook). No talking, work independently. If you finish early, use the time wisely to study or work on other items.

Compare answers with a partner
Go over your practice test results with a partner. Discuss how and why you came to your conclusions and answers. Cite sections of the book or your notes. Note: you will not be turning these in; you will keep them to help you study from.

Suggestions as you prepare for the exam
Take no less than 15 minutes per day to go over your notebook, portfolio, and past assignments. Rewrite old notes, work on notebook for submission, etc. If you have questions, ask Mr. Kipp (also available before and after school; make an appointment). You may use a one-sided, single sheet Exam Helper on the final tomorrow but you must turn it in with the exam. For sections that you may have trouble with, look at old lecture presentations on the class blog:
