2. Non-Fiction
Non-fiction is writing that tells a true story about someone’s life or is a piece of writing that gives information or creates an argument.

3. Composition
When you write a PROMPT composition on your exam, you will be given a topic or two and you will choose what to write about.
A prompt is the topic that you will be given immediately before you write the composition
The prompts will focus on family, important events, cultural connections, and perhaps sports or technology.
You will want to write about something that is/was important in your life.

4. composition
Choose an important event or person that has meaning for you
You will describe these people/events with descriptive language—IMAGERY, METAPHORS, SIMILES in your writing
You will use good grammar and senior vocabulary in your writing
It must be 3 or more paragraphs single spaced and written in ink
