3 Standard area description
Standard 3: Technology Productivity Tools Students using technology to enhance learning, productivity, creativity. In other words, students use technology to learn more, get more done, and demonstrate it in creative ways. Students collaborate with others on projects and publications.

4 One performance indicator
Students use technology tools to enhance learning, increase productivity, and promote creativity. High School students know how to successfully take online courses

5 Single academic content area
Many online courses are subject specific English, math, history, and science courses available online and each requires a subject specific set of skills to be successful

6 Interdisciplinary Instructional Unit
Some online courses interdisciplinary by design Examples: History of Women in Music, Aerodynamics/Model Plane Building (uses math, science, and applied technology skills)

7 Measurement of student performance
End product Proof of Learning (POL) Daily online log-ins, completion of assignments, journals Quality and creativity of student work Teacher assessments and student reflections
