BACKGROUND Socially, adolescence is the most fun time because during this time, a teenager will establish shared social interaction with peers, friends and even beginning a relationship with the opposite sex. Teenagers, according to the World Health Organization (WHO; 2014) is a group of humans at the age of 12 up to 29 years. While the Indonesian Ministry of Health (DepKes; 2009) classified teens as a group of people aged 10 up to 19 years. Adolescence is a phase of dynamic growth and development of a long life. The growth and development in this phase cover every aspect including: physical, mental spiritual, and social. To reach an optimal growth and development, it is highly affected by Biopsychosociospiritual interaction with the environment

In 2014, there are 1,9 billion (39%) adults and 18 years adolescence are overweight and there are 600 millions (13%) are obese (WHO, 2016). Obesity is usually a chronic condition as manifested by excessive body fat. This usually happens because of the increase of food intake to the body, while the output is low. The output in question is the energy that is generated from low body metabolism, so there is an imbalance between the food intake and the output energy that is being released during physical activity and stored in fat form (Roesli; 2014). Body Mass Index (BMI) is a simple index based on body weight and height that is usually used to determine whether a person classified as underweight, overweight, and obesity based on the BMI (WHO, 2016)

RESEARCH METHOD The method used in this research is the descriptive method with survey design. In this Research there is no treatment, because the only intervention done towards the respondents to measure the height and weight of the respondents, is the treatment to get the BMI value of the respondents. The population is all the students (male and female) studying in all Adventist High schools at Bandung ages 12 – 19 years old (WHO age classification) who wanted to participate in this survey. The Adventist school participating in this research is: Perguruan Advent Setiabudi Bandung, number of samples: 89, Perguruan Advent Bandung, number of samples: 156, Perguruan Advent Cimindi, number of samples: 221, and SMP and SD Advent Lab School UNAI, number of samples: 49. The total amount of samples in this research is 515 respondents. The instruments used in this research are the BMI reference (WHO, 2007) for teenagers. While the tools used in this research is the antropometry – scale and stature meter – and stationary.

RESEARCH RESULTS At PAB there are 21,8% of 156 respondents that are overweight and obese. While in Lab School UNAI there are 18,38% of 49 respondents are obese and overweight. At PASET there are 29% of 89 respondents that are overweight and obese. While at PACIM there are 13,58% of 221 respondents that are overweight and obese. This data shows that the Adventist School with the most dominant overweight student is at PASET, followed by PAB, Lab School UNAI, and PACIM. If seen from the geographical location, then the school is at a very strategic location in the middle of the city, therefore there are many places to obtain extra food after house meals. Surrounding the school are stores and kiosks that provide a variety of snacks. And easily accessed by the students.

RECOMMENDATIONS: 1.The Director of the schools. The Directors of the schools to empower the teachers to remind the students to have their breakfast everyday. Thus, they don’t have any wants to add their meals by buying many snacks that can’t guaranteed the amount of the calories. Author also ask the Director of the schools to increase their sport facilities which can be used by the students as well. 2.Physical Exercise Teacher. To the physical exercise teacher to ask the students increase their physical activities at school, and teach to live healthy life pattern so the students can be avoid of their health problems connected with obesity.
