Reading: We are starting a new story this week, The U.S. Constitution
And You. We will be working on comparing and contrasting in reading.
Math: We will be focusing on order of operations in single and multi-step word equations. Example: r x 3 = 12 or (r x 3) + 6= t…..If r is 4, what is t? This will be a review week. We will test on this subject on Thursday.
Writing: We will be starting a How To writing series. They will be writing how to do something they are an expert at.

Spelling City
Students will take a pretest on Mondays. If they get all of the words on the pretest correct, then they don’t have to take a post test. Fridays are spelling test days and the results will be sent home either that day or Monday. You can also go online to see your student’s scores on activities and tests!
