Take Home Folder
Important Information
September 11, there is a PTO meeting at 5:45 pm and a SAC Meeting at 6:30 pm.
Every day your child will bring home a take home folder. In the folder you will find graded work, our weekly class newsletter, behavior notices and/or notes and paperwork from the office. Please check the take home folder each night to stay up to date on what’s going on in our classroom!

This week in reading students will begin to recognize the main events in a story. We identify what the events are, as well as when they take place in the story. Did the event take place in the Beginning of the Story? Did the event take place in the middle of the story? Did the event take place at the end of the story?
Assessment: We will access the student’s knowledge on character, setting and events on Friday.
This week students in math, students will begin comparing numbers with <, >, and =. They will compare 1 digit numbers, 2 digit numbers and 3 digit numbers as well as begin to compare decimals.
Assessment: Comparing Numbers Assessment on Friday.
