Cursive is the goal!
Handwriting should be practised at home as well as in school.

New focus voted for by the children every half term.
Children showing value given a reward.
Class vote weekly for best act of _________ and certificate sent home with name on newsletter.

16. Punctuality and Attendance
Children can enter from 8.30.
Doors close at 8.45.
Parents leave children at door then kindly leave.
Prompt pick up at 3.15.
Attendance- Please, please have children in school every day.
Every time a child is late, they miss important guided reading sessions.

17. SATs Small groups. No time limit. Called quizzes.
Spread over the month of May.
Given breaks if needed.
