8 Why join us? A wide range of training locations across the west of Coventry. A large proportion of your training year will be spent in classrooms developing your teaching skills. Experienced and trained mentors to guide and support you. Access to schools that participate in research and engage in national and international educational projects. No two days will ever be the same!

9 Entry requirements Degree with honours from a British University or College of HE (or equivalent if from overseas)2:2 or above, containing a significant proportion of the subject you wish to teach. GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in at least Mathematics and English. Skills tests in numeracy and literacy successfully completed prior to starting the course. Experience of mainstream UK schools and working/volunteering with young people.
