1. Welcome to Magan! What is my native place famous for?
Every person in the world has his own Motherland. It is a place where he has been living from his birth. As for us, we have such a place too. It is Magan. Magan is a big settlement. It is located not far from Yakutsk, the capital of Sakha Republic (Yakutia). Magan is situated on the Lake Homustakh. Magan was founded in At first it was Novo-Nicolaevsk. Then it was renamed in Magan. We love our settlement and we don’t want to live anywhere else.

2. In the centre of the settlement there is a square with a monument to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War which were the inhabitants of Magan. Meetings are usually held there.

3. My school We study at Magan secondary school. It is 95 years old.
Our school is the place, where we get high-quality education.
We like to study because our lesson are very interesting.
We have a lot of nice, kind and knowledgeable teachers.
We have a great respect to the teachers for what they have done for us.
So we can say that school years are happy years for us.

4. Our Club There is a club where meetings and conferences take place.
Pupils like to go the club.
They sing song and dance modern and folk dances and perform some plays there.
Also young people like to go to the disco every Saturday.
