2. Mark of the project: Education of patriotical sentiments by means of the love to the native village. Problems: 1.Improvement of practice of monological speech 2. Love to the native village Hypothesis: The more complete will be our knowledge about the village, the more profound will be our love to the village.

3. Actuality of the project: It is impossible to be a patriot of your country if you don’t know your native country. Motherland, fatherland… These words have near roots: the mother, the father, parents. That’s why the man must know his roots and the air we breathe will be more healthy, tasty, our earth will be more expensive and we’ll feel more easily the sense of man’s life.

4. Our village is situated about 85 kilometres from Kirov to the right and a little to the left from the road.

5. Entered the village you can see our pond and the river Shighma on the left. And on the right there are small streets with beautiful names: Solnechnaya, Polevaya, Lugovaya.

6. Verkhoshizhemye is our native village. The history of Verkhoshizhemye is bound up with the history of our district. The first mention of Verkhoshizhemye can be found in the chronicles dated back to the middle of 17 th century. It was 1678, when the first houses were build. At first it was village Shlyandinskaya because of marshand, low and wet soils.

7. But the village grew and developed. The habitants of Verkhoshizhemye participated in its reformations. Today Verkhoshizhemye is a big district centre. The village is more 330 years old!

8. The main sight of the village is a memorial with a monument to a Soviet soldier. The meetings, memorables, receptions and other measures take place here.

9. Our museum is a historical centre. There are different exhibits, old things and documents. A different measures, excursions and meetings with interesting people take place in the museum.

10. The park on the other side of the river is a beautiful place. A ski base is situated here. We have the best ski-roller trass, that’s why a lot of sportsmen come here to train. Every year ski race “Race of Russia” takes place in the park. Ski marathon is a finish of ski season. It is a beautiful spectacle!

11. The main street of our village is Kirov-Street. This street is long and has a lot of new and old buildings. There are shops, the House of culture, a shop center, libraries, kindergartens.

12. There is a hospital, some drug stories, a veterinary station. We have our newspaper with a nice name “Shizhma’s sources”.

13. The highest building is the building of district and local administration. It is situated Komsomolskaya street.

14. There are a lot of organisations which have done wood in our village. There are a lot of private enterprises because private undertakers live and work here. The most of male population work in the forest economy.

15. There are some cafes in our village, where we can eat ice-cream or drink a cup of coffee or just have a talk with our friends.

16. Our school have been repaired recently. It has a beautiful face, a comfortable classrooms. The school is situated Shkolnaya street.

17. We like our village very much because we were born here and our parents and a lot of relatives live here. We have a beautiful nature!

18. We pass our spare time in different circles, sections and optional lessons which take place in the House of culture, in the House of children’s activity, in our school. We have a lot of opportunities to go for sports because there are stadiums and sport halls in our village. Ski, volleyball and basketball are well developed.
