There will be additional year group assemblies for pupils weeks beginning 25th March as follows (these dates have changed). Class teachers please register your class and then escort them to the Theatre. Monday 25th March P5: S1 Tuesday 26th March P3: S2 Respect Responsibility Ambition

Bannerman High School SILVER AWARDS ASSEMBLY MARCH This sessions Silver Awards assembly for S1 to S3 will take place on Wednesday 27th March in the workshop theatre. Period 2 Burns, Napier and Telford Period 4 Livingston, Mackintosh and Wallace Pastoral Care staff will send names to tutor teachers of those who should attend. Pupils should report directly to the workshop theatre, Pastoral Care staff will register pupils. These awards are based on excellence in tracking reports and consistently displaying the school values. Thanks, Pastoral Care team. Respect Responsibility Ambition

Bannerman High School FOODBANK SPRING COLLECTION. The Foodbank Team, in Partnership with the Glasgow North East Foodbank would like to thank all of the Bannerman High School Pupils and Staff for their generous support with the 2018 Christmas Collection. We will be launching our spring collection that will start on Monday 4th March until Friday 29th March. Members of the Foodbank team will be visiting Tutor classes to deliver new barometers to track and chat to pupils about the partnership. Assemblies will be delivered to S2 pupils on the week beginning the 4th March to mark the start of our Easter collection. If any staff or pupils will like to get involved in volunteering visits, sourcing donations or helping others learn about the work of foodbanks then please get in touch with Miss Mulholland or Mr Boyle. The items we are looking for to deliver to the Foodbank in Parkhead are: Telford - Tinned Fish Mackintosh - Fruit Juice Wallace - Tinned Fruit Burns - Long Life Milk Napier - Cereal Livingstone - Sugar Respect Responsibility Ambition

13 Visit From Jet 2 Have you ever thought of a career in cabin crew, pilots, mechanics, engineering or fancied travelling the world? Jet 2 are delivering a presentation to Bannerman about the career opportunities that they have within their company. It is happening on Tuesday 16th April during periods 6 & 7. This is available to anyone who is thinking about this as a potential career. There will be a sign up sheet at the Global Studies base if you would like to attend. Sign up closes on Wednesday 27th March. There are limited spaces so please sign up quickly! Please see Miss Surgeon if you have any questions.
