5 S1-6 Hockey club! Mr Sands and Miss Hume will be coaching a hockey club on Tuesday 3:45-5pm on the astro. Girls and boys, all ages and abilities welcome! Come along after school on Tuesday in your PE kit with shin guards and hockey sticks if you have them!

6 S1 UKULELE CLUB WHEN: Monday Lunchtime WHERE: Room 005 Come along at 1.15 if you are interested and bring your lunch!!!!

7 Barcelona Trip June 2016 All those going on this trip, remember your next Payment is due to be Paid by Wednesday 30 th September All payments to: Miss Anstruther in Room 205 R EMEMBER TO BRING YOUR PAYMENT CARDS ALONG WITH YOUR MONEY

8 Senior Forum Meet in Room 115 at 1.15 every Tuesday (all S5/6 welcome)

9 S1/2 Forum Meeting If you’re in first or second year and interested in making a difference in our school, then come along to a meeting next Monday lunchtime at 1.20pm in Room 208 (Miss Lyon’s room).

10 Starts Tuesday 29 th September 3.30-4.30pm Room 118

11 London 2016 Meeting for all pupils going on the trip. When: Monday (28/9) at 1.20 Where: Room 225 Collect your payment card if you haven’t picked it up already.

12 Manchester / Blackpool Trip If you want to go on this trip, at the higher cost, you must hand back your permission slip as soon as possible to Miss Macgregor or Mr Rogers

13 There will be a rag bag collection on: Tuesday, 29 September 2015 This is a great opportunity to tidy out your wardrobe before the October break and help school funds! Items accepted for donation: Good quality clean clothing; belts; paired shoes and handbags A limited supply of bags will be distributed to registration classes on Friday 25 September. Donations can also be made using household black bags.

14 How to make a rag bag donation Bring your bags to school on Tuesday, 29 September and leave them at the drop off point before registration. Where is the drop off point? At the bottom of the main stairs, outside the glass doors entrance to the atrium. Leave your bags beside the notice with your house name on it as house points will be awarded for each bag donated. 16 S1 European Day of Languages Competition Monday 28 th September Speak 28 languages in one day by identifying the 28 countries of the European Union from their flag and the word for “Hello” in each language! Get your competition sheet during registration from your tutor teacher! Be a citizen of Europe! Prizes to be won... Motivation Merits to be achieved...

17 S1 Dance for Fun lunch club Monday 28 th September This week at 1:15-1:30 in Dance Studio A with Miss McCardle Spanish, Latin, Zumba moves!! Come along and dance for fun!!!

18 S2 BOYS FOOTBALL MEETING There will be a meeting of the S2 team on today (Monday) at 1.30pm in Room 216 ALL players MUST attend as this is a very important meeting and may result in you not playing if you do not attend.

19 S3 Dance Camp There are spaces available for the Lasswade High School Dance Camp. Date: 18 th – 20 th March 2016 If you are interested in going on this trip please see Miss Low in the PE department ASAP!

20 GIRLS FOOTBALL TRAINING NOW ON MONDAY’S!!! (3:30-4:45) All players welcome! Miss McNeill
