This week, we discussed the nursery rhymes Hickory Dickory Dock and Little Miss Muffet. We worked on creating some sentences that described ourselves and even made a person to go with them! We were so excited for you to see them at Open House. We talked about the five senses and even had a smell and taste test. In math, we continued to practice writing our numbers and discussed how to be efficient mathematicians.

Things you can practice at home include writing numbers 0-5 and counting small groups of objects. Also, your child may benefit from practicing the letters A – H (upper and lower case). If you’ve noticed that your child has had trouble writing his or her name, this would be a great skill to work on at home! Thank you!
