3 Research Paper Thesis: The history of photography is extensive and rich in knowledge, the camera has developed from the size of a room to something that can be kept in a pocket, and children were a muse of early photographers and still are today because babies are seen as amazing milestones in a parent’s life. 2 facts from paper: During pregnancy, if the mother suffers organ damage, the baby in the womb sends stem cells to repair the damaged organ. (factslides.com) About 1 percent of the world population has autism spectrum disorder. Prevalence in the United States is estimated at 1 in 68 births. More than 3.5 million Americans live with an autism spectrum disorder. Prevalence of autism in U.S. children increased by percent from 2000 (1 in 150) to (1 in 68). Autism is the fastest-growing developmental disability.(

4 Physical Project *Most of my hours were spent getting pictures of Linix, who is my niece. *Favorite was her birthday party. *Trying to get a back drop set up and the lighting

5 My progression as a photographer
maker/d k o1/linix-slideshow At the beginning of the project I didn’t know how to take a picture Compared to hers I have improved

6 What I’ve learned through the process
I have learned that even an amateur photographer can take an amazing picture if they know the fundamental structure a picture You don’t have to have a professional camera That you have to have patience with the kids. They’re just babies and they are jumpy and energy filled

7 Successes I am proud that I improved a skill that I had learned a while ago and learned how to use a professional camera I took some amazing pictures with the help of my mentor and on my own

8 Challenges My outlook on photography was thinking it was easy,
but it’s definitely not. All of the patience that it takes to use a baby as a subject as photography. I would have tried to have my own camera and get used to using a more complex means of taking a picture.

9 Mentor Reflection Molly Dockery was my senior project mentor
She helped me learn how to use a professional camera And get some amazing pictures of my niece. She allowed me to use her studio to practice in a real studio Setting.

10 Conclusion I think I will keep photography as a hobby and pursue
my nursing career but I would love to have a side business with photography I love it, taking pictures is a great way to capture a once in a lifetime moment I find babies to be wonderful beings and in everything they do
