Students will use spelling words in sentences. Students will practice reading skills that go along with the mini lesson that week. Students will practice using vocabulary words in different situations. Using a book of their choosing students will read and respond with a partner. Students will use a writing convention in practice. It could be in journals or to turn it. Students will work on the grammar convention for the week. Meet with the teacher. Using a text I provide, they will practice comprehension skills.
