Procreation - bringing children into the world.
Expression of love - between a husband and wife.

3. What is the Church Teaching on Homosexuality?
The Church doesn’t comment on the causes of homosexuality, but recognizes that some people are born this way.
Homosexuals should not express their love in a sexual way because they would not be able to bring children into the world and are not expressing love between a husband and a wife.

4. Chastity Being in control of our physical and emotional sexual urges.
Self-mastery - a part of human freedom (animals are not free to control their sexual urges)
Involves making choices according to our stations in life (priest, married layperson, single layperson, homosexual layperson).

5. Chastity Cont’d
We must try to avoid sources of temptation especially if we know we may find ourselves in moments of weakness.
Allowing ourselves to be tempted by viewing pornography, fornicating, lusting after others makes chastity difficult.
We need to pray for assistance, keep practicing the virtues and confess when we commit sins.

6. Healthy Loving Relationships
Recognize the equal dignity and basic rights of all involved.
Modeled after a Christ-like love.
Manipulation, coercion, abuse, jealousy and obsession are signs of an unhealthy relationship.
Scripture gives us the direction and inspiration for developing healthy loving relationships.
