A pun is a play on words and is created by using a word that has two different meanings, or using two different words with similar meanings for a playful effect.

Repetition is the reiteration of a word or phrase for emphasis

6. RHETORIC
Rhetoric is the art and logic of a written or spoken argument

8. RHETORICAL MODES
Describes the variety, the conventions, and the purposes of the major kinds of writing. The four most common rhetorical modes are as follows:
Exposition
Argumentation
Description
Narration

9. An anecdote is an example of narration;
Which is one of the rhetorical modes
An anecdote example is the story of George Washington chopping down a cherry tree.

10. RHETORICAL STRATEGY
A strategy is a plan of action or movement to achieve a goal. In rhetoric, strategy describes the way an author organizes words and sentences in order to achieve a particular purpose.
