3 Levels of Government Unitary System – gives all key power to the national or central government Example: England and France Federal System – divides the powers of government between the national government and state or provincial governments. Example: U.S. , Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Switzerland, and India.

4 Autocracy (Power belongs to a single individual)
Absolute or totalitarian dictatorship

5 Dictatorship An individual or group holds complete political power.
