In the classroom Reading: Make a goal to read minutes every day with your child. I-Station directions have also been sent home. You may have them do I-Station in place of backpack reading. Please note this on their reading log so they receive credit for the time spent on task. Writing: Your student should be able to write a complete sentence, with correct punctuation, capitalization, and correct spelling of frequently used sight words. (the, of, they…) We are working on editing our work, writing on topic paragraphs and using interesting/creative vocabulary to add descriptive details to our work. Encourage them to sound out words as they write and then go back and edit after. Math: We are working on place value, regrouping, and applying that knowledge to solve problems.
