3 The Spread of Islam In 1500 years, Islam spreads throughout Africa, Asia, and Europe. Today it is still the fastest growing religion in the world

4 Significant concepts of Islam?
Muhammad was the Seal of the Prophets for Islam. Islam means submitting to the will of Allah (God). Their holy book is called the Koran (Qur'an) Believers hold the Five Pillars as fundamental to the foundation of Islam.

5 Five Pillars Shahadah: To profess that there is no one god but Allah and Mohammed is his prophet; that is, a strict monotheism with Mohammed as the final prophet. Salat: To pray five times daily, reciting from the Koran passages in praise of the Lord. Zakat: To give alms to the poor, and for the support of religious and good causes. According to the Qur’an 2.5% of your earnings. Siyam: To fast from sunrise to sunset during the month of Ramadan. Hajj: To make the Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca, required of all believers at least once in their lifetime.
